Help. I've been wanting to back up my dvd/bluray connection, but I can't get MakeMKV to work -- it fails export because it cannot get ccextractor working. I'd really like to keep the captions in the mkv file, so going without isn't really an option. I've done some googling but can't seem to find any solution to MakeMKV 1.16 and ccextractor. Help.

The feature makes closed captions available; up until now they have been invisible to MakeMKV. If you want to extract the tracks for inspection you would use ccextractor directly. It will produce a text file of the track in SRT format. Closed Captions are an earlier form of subtitles embedded in the video stream.

Jun 06, 2019 · Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 (this might be needed to run CCExtractor 0.70 and above in XP). Dependencies for the full CCExtractor version (with FFmpeg, OCR, etc) (they are included in the distribution packages but we have them separately for convenience).

The subtitle currently is not hardcoded, how can i make it hardcoded? Subtitles will be displayed in my media player, but after I upload the mkv files to Youtube, subtitles are missing.
